  9. WELCOME     A sample text file, specified with TYPING.CFG
  10. CONFIG.SYS  A sample configuration file to be on the boot disk
  11. ANSI.SYS    Supplied by the user from their DOS 2.x or 3.x disk

  13.    CAUTION: be sure you do not have any important files called 
  14.             TYPING.OUT as they will be over written by this program.
  15.  
  16.    To set up be sure you have a CONFIG.SYS file on your boot disk 
  17. with the line DEVICE=ANSI.SYS. The DOS file ANSI.SYS must also be on the
  18. boot disk. Reboot the system if it was not already configured this way.

  20.    This program is designed to provide a means of checking speed and accuracy 
  21. of typing performance against an existing file determined by the TYPING.CFG 
  22. file, or prompted for. The program is preset to use WELCOME as the practice 
  23. file. Enter TYPING <cr> to begin. Type the text exactly as it appears on the 
  24. screen. After two minutes, your performance will be evaluated. For more 
  25. information or to use your own files for practice, see the file typing.doc.
